About Our Local Office

The Indianapolis South East Right at Home Office, serving Southeast Marion County, Johnson County, Shelby County and Hancock County, is a locally owned and operated franchise Right at Home Office. Right at Home has been providing non-medical, in-home senior care  since 1995. The Right at Home mission is to improve the quality of life for the elderly and disabled by providing high quality, in-home care.

The Indianapolis South East Right at Home Office is owned and operated by John Kindred. John has seen the need for quality care for senior citizens and the disabled and felt compelled to assist those who have helped him. Right at Home services include:

• Bathing assistance
• Incontinence Care
  
• Light housekeeping
• Medical reminders
• Meal preparation
• Errands and transportation
• Assistance with dressing and undressing
• Companionship

Caregivers are bonded and insured. Our orientation process insures they clearly understand how to meet clients' needs in a respectful and compassionate manner.

Clients and their families may use our services for a variety of reasons:

• Assistance for a loved one who can no longer stay alone
• Short-term support after a hospital stay
• Respite care to relieve family caregivers
• Additional care in an assisted living facility, nursing home or hospital

John was born and raised in Indianapolis. After graduating from Southport High School, John obtained his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering and entered the U.S. Navy. During his 21 year Navy Pilot career, John's many management positions included Chief Executive Officer, Administrative Officer, Operations Officer, Executive Officer, Public Affairs Officer and many others. He received numerous personal and unit awards, but his most prized award was the Golden Anchor Award signifying Navy wide achievement for people and retention programs. John is also a Total Quality Management school graduate.
